Trustees
Our Trustees are volunteers who hold overall legal responsibility for Communityworks. The Board brings together local people and professionals from diverse backgrounds, with a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience. Our trustees generously give their time and expertise to support the charity and ensure it is well governed.

Three committees support the Board in its governance responsibilities: the HR Committee, the Finance Committee and the Projects Committee. Each committee plays an important role in supporting the effective management and long-term success of Communityworks.
We also have three Young People’s Representatives on our Board who ensure that the voices, views and experiences of local young people are heard and considered in the charity’s decision-making. Their involvement helps Communityworks remain connected to the needs and aspirations of young people in our community.
